Section 23

Any licence issued under the repealed Secondhand Dealers Act (Cap. 288, 1985 Ed.) and in force immediately before 1st December 2007 shall, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to be a licence issued under section 5 of this Act, except that the licence shall expire on 31st December of the year in respect of which it was issued.

Any exemption granted under section 5 of the repealed Secondhand Dealers Act and in force immediately before 1st December 2007 shall be deemed to be an exemption granted under section 20 of this Act except that the exemption shall expire on 31st December of the year in respect of which it was granted.
