Duty to submit borrower information to Registrar
(1)
For the purpose of determining whether this Act has been complied with, or for the purpose of policy formulation or review by the Registrar or by any public agency, the Registrar or any officer duly authorised by the Registrar may, by written notice to a licensee, direct that the licensee submit to the Registrar or the officer any borrower information of the licensee —
in relation to any person or loan specified in the notice; and
within the period and in the form and manner specified in the notice.
(2)
Any licensee who without reasonable excuse fails to comply with any notice under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.[30T
