Section 87

Despite any provision to the contrary in the Criminal Procedure Code 2010, a District Court has jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act and has power to impose the full penalty or punishment in respect of the offence.

Where any act constituting an offence, or part of an offence, under section 19 or 47 is committed outside Singapore by a person, the person may be dealt with in respect of that offence as if the act had been committed within Singapore. [32
