Section 15

Alterations in registers

(1)

The Registrar must —

(a)

insert in the appropriate register any alteration which may come to the Registrar’s knowledge to any particulars or qualifications of any registered allied health professional;

(b)

correct any error in a register; and

(c)

remove from the appropriate register the name of any person —

(i)

whose name is ordered to be removed under any provision of this Act;

(ii)

who is deceased;

(iii)

who has requested and shown sufficient reason for the person’s name to be removed from that register, unless an inquiry has or proceedings have commenced under Part 5 against that person; or

(iv)

whose registration has lapsed.

(2)

The Registrar may remove from the appropriate register the name of a person who has not renewed his or her practising certificate for a continuous period of not less than 2 years.
