Section 1

Short title and commencement

This Act is the Parliamentary Pensions (Abolition) Act 2012 and, with the exception of sections 5 and 6 and the Schedule, is deemed to have come into operation on 21 May 2011.(2) Sections 5 and 6 and the Schedule are to come into operation on a date that the Minister appoints by notification in the Gazette.

This Act is the Parliamentary Pensions (Abolition) Act 2012 and, with the exception of sections 5 and 6 and the Schedule, is deemed to have come into operation on 21 May 2011.

Sections 5 and 6 and the Schedule are to come into operation on a date that the Minister appoints by notification in the Gazette.
