Registration does not confer ownership
(1)
The registration of a person in respect of any business name does not confer on the person any property in the registered business name, or in any word or expression that constitutes or is included in the registered business name.
(2)
The registration of a person is not to be taken as evidence that the person so registered owns any property or right or interest in any property held on account of, or used for the purposes of, the business.
