Section 72

Powers of authorised officers to enter certain premises

(1)

For the purpose of exercising the powers conferred by sections 68 to 71, an authorised officer may, without warrant, enter upon —

(a)

any islet, landing place, wharf, dock, railway or quay;

(b)

any premises of a provider of port services or facilities licensed or exempted under the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act 1996; or

(c)

any premises of any airport operated under a licence or exemption under the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009.

(2)

In this section, “railway” has the same meaning as in the Railways Act 1905.
