Section 16C

Person who may appeal

The persons who may appeal against a decision made by any court in relation to the following orders are —

(a)

in the case of a protection order —

(i)

the applicant for the order; (ii)the relevant party in relation to the order; or

(iii)

if the protection order requires an internet intermediary to disable access to a third party’s communication, that third party;

(b)

in the case of a mandatory treatment order —

(i)

the applicant for the order; or

(ii)

the respondent; and

(c)

in the case of a stop publication order, a correction order, a disabling order, a targeted correction order or a general correction order —

(i)

the applicant for the order;

(ii)

the relevant party in relation to the order;

(iii)

the author of the relevant statement to which the order relates; or

(iv)

an individual or entity that published the relevant statement to which the order relates.
