Prohibited human biomedical research
(1)
Despite anything in this Act, no research institution or person can conduct, supervise or control any prohibited human biomedical research specified in the Third Schedule.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $100,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years or to both.
