Section 56
Act binds Government
(1)
Except as otherwise provided in subsection (2), this Act binds the Government and applies to the Government, including any human biomedical research conducted under the supervision and control of the Government.
(2)
Nothing in this Act renders the Government liable to prosecution for an offence under this Act.
(3)
To avoid doubt, no person is immune from prosecution for any offence under this Act by reason that the person is employed by, seconded to or engaged to provide services to the Government.
