Dispute resolution
(1)
A code of practice may provide for the resolution of any dispute between private persons (whether regulated persons or otherwise) in respect of any provision of the code of practice.
(2)
The Authority may determine the dispute if —
the code of practice provides for the Authority’s determination of the dispute; and
a party to the dispute applies to the Authority for its determination.
(3)
The Authority must deal with and determine the dispute in accordance with the procedures and powers specified in the code of practice.
(4)
To avoid doubt, this section does not apply to disputes between subscribers and designated media licensees (within the meaning of section 65A), arising from or relating to the provision of media services by the designated media licensees to the subscribers.
