Section 22

Meetings of Board

(1)

The Board must hold such meetings as are necessary for performing its functions.

(2)

The Chairperson must appoint the times and places of the meetings of the Board, and cause notice of those meetings to be given to each member of the Board not present when the appointment is made.

(3)

If the Chairperson receives a written request signed by 4 or more members that a meeting of the Board be convened for a purpose specified in the request, the Chairperson must, within 7 days after receiving the request, convene a meeting for that purpose.

(4)

The meetings of the Board must be held in accordance with the provisions of this Act and Part 4 of the Public Sector (Governance) Act 2018.
