Section 250Q
Power to prescribe further disapplications or make further modifications
(1)
The Minister may, by order in the Gazette —
further disapply any provision of this Act (which would otherwise apply to or in relation to a company that is being wound up voluntarily) to or in relation to a company that is being wound up voluntarily under the simplified winding up programme; or
prescribe further modifications to any provision of this Act that applies (whether with or without modifications) to or in relation to a company that is being wound up voluntarily under the simplified winding up programme.
(2)
An order under subsection (1) —
may be made at any time within the period of 2 years after 29 January 2021; and
must be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after publication in the Gazette.
