Distribution, etc., of infringing copies of works
A person commits an offence if —
at any time when copyright subsists in a work, the person does any of the following acts:
distributes an article —
other than for the purposes of trade; and
to an extent that will prejudicially affect the copyright owner;
imports an article for the purpose of distributing the article —
other than for the purposes of trade; and
to an extent that will prejudicially affect the copyright owner;
possesses an article for the purpose of distributing the article —
other than for the purposes of trade; and
to an extent that will prejudicially affect the copyright owner; and
when doing the act, the person knows or ought reasonably to know that the article is an infringing copy of the work.
