Amendment of section 11

Section 11 of the Post Office Savings Bank Ordinance is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “shall be approved from time to time by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara” appearing in the eighth and ninth lines of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the words “he shall from time to time approve”;

(b)

by deleting the colon appearing in the eleventh line of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor a full-stop;

(c)

by deleting the proviso to subsection (1) thereof; and

(d)

by deleting the words “Yang di-Pertuan Negara” appearing in the third line of the proviso to subsection (2) thereof and substituting therefor the words “Minister for Finance”.
