Clause 9

Subsection (1) of section 40 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting the expression “, subject when in the Federation of Malaya” appearing in the third and fourth lines thereof and substituting therefor the expression “: Provided that when in the Federation of Malaya they shall be subject”.
