Prohibition of use of unlicensed public service vehicles
(1)
No vehicle shall be used as a public service vehicle unless there is in force in respect of such vehicle a public service vehicle licence issued under this Part of this Ordinance.
(2)
A public service vehicle licence shall be in addition to any other licence issued under this Ordinance.
(3)
Any person who uses or causes or permits a vehicle to be used as a public service vehicle in contravention of the provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars and in the case of a second or subsequent conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars.
