Provisions with respect to stretching of ropes, etc. across roads
Any person who for any purpose places or causes to be placed any rope, wire, chain, tackle or similar apparatus across a road or any part thereof in such a manner as to be likely to cause danger to persons using the road shall, unless he proves that he had a lawful right or excuse so to do and that he had taken all necessary means to give adequate warning of the danger, be guilty of an offence under this Ordinance.
