Clause 6

Wages

(1)

Section 91 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance (which imposes restrictions on suits for wages) is hereby repealed.

(2)

Nothing in this Ordinance shall be construed as limiting the jurisdiction of the court to refuse to entertain an action for wages by the master or a member of the crew of a ship, not being a British ship.
