Exhibition of audited balance-sheet
(1)
Every licensed bank shall —
exhibit throughout the year in a conspicuous position in every office and branch of that bank in Singapore a copy of its last audited balance‑sheet, together with the full and correct names of all persons who are directors of that bank, as soon as such balance‑sheet is available;
publish a copy of its last audited balance‑sheet in local daily English, Chinese and Malay newspapers;
within six months after the close of its financial year forward to the Minister a copy of its last audited balance‑sheet and profit and loss account.
(2)
Any licensed bank which fails to comply with any of the provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence against this Ordinance and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars.
