Offensive trades
FIRST SCHEDULE(Sections 85 and 86).Offensive trades(a)Mills used for the grinding of cereals, spices, pulses or any other dried vegetable produce;
a knacker’s yard or place for skinning or disembowelling animals;
boiling offal, blood or oil;
soap making;
making bricks, pottery or line;
dyeing, lye-making or tanning;
sago or ampas washing, sago or sago-flour making;
curing or storing fish or crustaceans or manufacturing or storing fish manure or any by-product of the foregoing;
drying or sorting fish or crustaceans or drying, sorting or storing blachan;
collecting or storing rags, bones or feathers;
boiling or refining sugar or preserving or canning fruits;
a stable, cattle-shed, cow-house, dairy or place for keeping horses, cattle, sheep or goats, except when the animals kept therein are for private use;
the business of a washerman or laundryman or drycleaner;
extracting or preparing vegetable or animal fats or oils or preparing spices;
any other manufactory or place of business from which either offensive or unwholesome smells arise or in which any process is carried on or by which there is given off or accumulated any dust, fumes or any other impurity of such a character or to such an extent as to be injurious or offensive.
