Clause 2
Amendment of section 11
Section 11 of the Singapore Legislative Assembly Elections Ordinance (hereinafter in this Ordinance referred to as the “principal Ordinance”) is hereby amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “ten” appearing in the sixth line of subsection (2) thereof and substituting therefor the word “fourteen”;
(b)
by deleting the word “ten” appearing in the fifth line of subsection (6) thereof and substituting therefor the word “six”; and
(c)
by deleting the word “twelve” appearing in the third line of subsection (9) thereof and substituting therefor the word “six”.
