Clause 5
Amendment of section 34
Section 34 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “a Saturday” appearing in the second line of paragraph (b) of subsection (4) thereof;
(b)
by inserting immediately after subsection (4) thereof the following new subsection: —“(5) In computing time for the purposes of paragraph (b) of subsection (4) of this section, the last day of the period shall not be excluded only by reason of the fact that it is a Sunday or that it is a public holiday under the provisions of this Ordinance or of any other written law.”; and
(c)
by renumbering the existing subsection (5) thereof as subsection (6).
