Clause 1

Short title and commencement

This Ordinance may be cited as the Local Government Integration Ordinance, 1963, and shall come into operation on such date as the Yang di-Pertuan Negara may by notification in the Gazette appoint.(2) The Yang di-Pertuan Negara may appoint different days for the coming into operation of different Parts or provisions of this Ordinance.
