Clause 131
Police may assist and close streets
(1)
Any police officer may assist the fire brigade in the execution of its duty and may close any street in or near which a fire is burning.
(2)
Any person who assaults, disturbs, obstructs, molests, hinders or interferes with any member of the fire brigade or any police officer or person assisting the fire brigade or acting under the orders of the Chief Fire Officer or other officer in charge of the fire brigade on the spot, shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars.
