Power to take land adjoining new streets for building purposes
In making any new streets, in addition to the land required for the carriage-ways and footways thereof, the Director may, with the sanction of the Minister, also —
(a)
acquire the land necessary for the houses and buildings to form the said street;
(b)
erect any buildings upon the land so acquired or alter any existing buildings thereon; and
(c)
sell and dispose of such land, houses or buildings with such stipulations and conditions as to the class and description of houses or buildings to be erected on such land as he thinks fit.
