Clause 175

Authority, etc., may direct prosecution

(1)

Subject to the provisions of section 54 of this Ordinance, no proceedings for an offence punishable under this Ordinance or any regulations made thereunder shall be instituted, except by or with the sanction of the Public Prosecutor or the authority.

(2)

Any public officer or police officer may conduct such prosecution on behalf of the authority.
