Clause 115

Service of notices

(1)

Every notice, order or document required or authorised by this Ordinance or any regulations made thereunder to be served on any person may be served —

(a)

by delivering the same to such person or by delivering the same at the last known place of abode of such person to some adult member or servant of his family;

(b)

by leaving the same at the usual or last known place of abode or business of such person in a cover addressed to such person; or

(c)

by forwarding the same by post in a prepaid letter addressed to such person at his usual or last known place of abode or business.

(2)

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, any notice required to be given to any person who causes any obstruction or impediment to navigation and whose identity is unknown, shall be deemed to be properly served if affixed on, at or near the place where such obstruction or impediment is.
