Clause 64
Penalty for disobedience of directions lawfully given
(1)
Any person who, without lawful excuse, refuses or neglects to obey any direction lawfully given under this Part of this Ordinance or any regulation made thereunder shall be guilty of an offence under this Ordinance and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for every day or part of a day during which he wilfully continues to disobey such direction.

In case of any refusal or neglect or of any failure to comply with this Part of this Ordinance or any regulation made thereunder, the Authority may, whether any proceedings have been instituted against any person for such offence or not, do or cause to be done all such acts as are in its opinion reasonable or necessary for the purpose of carrying out such direction or complying with such regulation, and may hire and employ such persons as it considers proper and necessary for such purpose.
(3)
All expenses incurred in doing such acts shall be paid and borne by the person or persons so offending.
