Clause 8
Protection of the Authority, its members and employees, from personal liability
(1)
No matter or thing done and no contract of any kind entered into by the Authority and no matter or thing done by any member of the Authority or by any employee thereof or any other person whomsoever acting under the direction of the Authority shall, if the matter or thing was done or the contract was entered into bona fide for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Ordinance, subject them or any of them personally to any action, liability, claim or demand whatsoever in respect thereof.
(2)
Any expense incurred by the Authority or any member, employee or other person so acting under the direction of the Authority shall be paid out of the funds of the Authority.
