Clause 97

Penalty for obstructing the Authority in the performance of its duty

Any person who at any time hinders, obstructs or molests the Authority or any of its employees, agents or contractors in the performance and execution of their duty or of anything which they are respectively empowered or required to do by virtue or in consequence of this Ordinance, or removes any mark set up for the purpose of indicating any level or direction necessary to the execution of works authorised by this Ordinance, shall be guilty of an offence under this Ordinance and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
