Clause 3

Amendment of section 20

Section 20 of the Prevention of Corruption Ordinance, 1960, is hereby amended —

(a)

by inserting immediately after the word “Code” appearing in the sixth line of subsection (1) thereof the following: —“or any article or property relating to the commission of an offence under this Ordinance or under sections 161 to 165 or 213 to 215 of the Penal Code”;

(b)

by inserting immediately after the word “document” appearing at the end of subsection (1) thereof the expression “, article or property”; and

(c)

by adding immediately after the word “Code” appearing in the seventh line of subsection (2) thereof the following: —“or any article or property relating to the commission of an offence under this Ordinance or under sections 161 to 165 or 213 to 215 of the Penal Code”.
