of Land Acquisition (Temporary Provisions) Ordinance

Clause 1

Short title and duration

This Ordinance may be cited as the Land Acquisition (Temporary Provisions) Ordinance, 1963.(2) This Ordinance shall continue in force for a period of five years from the date of the coming into operation thereof:Provided that —

(a)

the Yang di-Pertuan Negara may from time to time by notification in the Gazette extend such period for such other period or periods of not more than twelve months at any time as he may think fit; and

(b)

the expiry of this Ordinance shall not affect the operation thereof as respects things previously done or omitted to be done.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Land Acquisition (Temporary Provisions) Ordinance, 1963.

(2)
