Clause 11

Powers of the Authority

(1)

Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, the Authority may carry on such activities as appear to the Authority to be advantageous, necessary or convenient for it to carry on for or in connection with the discharge of its duties under this Ordinance and, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Authority may exercise all or any of the powers specified in the Second Schedule to this Ordinance.

(2)

Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, the Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, carry on such other activities as the Authority may, from time to time, consider expedient.

(3)

The provisions of this section shall not be construed as limiting any power of the Authority conferred by or under any written law.
