Repeal and re-enactment of section 9
Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor: —“Appointment of Director of Marine9.—
(1)
The Yang di-Pertuan Negara may appoint a Director of Marine and a Deputy Director of Marine.(2) The Director may appoint so many other officers as he may think fit for the purpose of carrying out all or any of the powers conferred on the Director by or under this Ordinance.”.
