Clause 5

Amendment of section 44

Section 44 of the principal Ordinance is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting subsections (2) and (3) thereof; and

(b)

by renumbering the existing subsection (4) thereof as subsection (2) and by deleting therefrom the expression “or enters into an agreement with any seaman contrary to the provisions of subsection (2) of this section”.
