Imposition of a cess on rooms in tourist hotels
(1)
There shall be levied and paid, at the end of each month, in respect of every room or suite occupied each day in every tourist hotel, a cess at the rate set out in the Schedule to this Ordinance.
(2)
The Minister may, in such Schedule, classify tourist hotels and specify the rate of cess to be payable in respect of each class of tourist hotels.
(3)
The Minister may, from time to time, by order published in the Gazette, add to, vary or revoke the whole or any part of such Schedule.
