Repeal and re-enactment of section 26
Section 26 of the principal Ordinance is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor: —“Copy of notice to be sent to the Chief Assessor
26. On receipt of a notice of appeal the clerk shall forthwith forward one copy thereof to the Chief Assessor who shall —
(a)
in the case of an appeal made under subsection (4) of section 11 of this Ordinance, cause the property concerned to be deleted from the Valuation List; and
(b)
in the case of an appeal made under subsection (4) of section 17 of this Ordinance, defer the making of the proposed amendment to the Valuation List until such time as the appeal has been decided upon by the Board.”.
