Clause 2

Amendment of section 4

Subsection (1) of section 4 of the Medical Registration Ordinance is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (e) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(e)two registered medical practitioners to be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara on the nomination of the Council of the University of Singapore;

(f)

two registered medical practitioners to be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara on the nomination of the Council of the University of Malaya; and”; and

(b)

by re-lettering paragraph (f) thereof as paragraph (g).
