Clause 2

Amendment of section 5

Section 5 of the Lembaga Gerakan Pelajaran Dewasa Ordinance, 1960, is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “and Law” appearing in the second line of paragraph (c) of subsection (1) thereof;

(b)

by deleting the words “Malaya in” appearing in the last line of paragraph (f) of subsection (1) thereof;

(c)

by inserting immediately before the word “Trades” appearing in paragraph (h) of subsection (1) thereof the word “National”;

(d)

by inserting immediately after subsection (9) thereof the following new subsection: —“(10) The Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, vary the constitution of the Board or the number of its members and provide in what manner additional members, if any, shall be appointed.”.
