Clause 4

The principal Ordinance is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 18 thereof the following new section: —“Approval of plans to expire18A. All plans for a new street which were approved under the provisions of section 101 of the Municipal Ordinance (Cap. 133 (1936 edition)) or section 142 of the Local Government Ordinance, 1957 (Ord. 24 of 1957), or under the provisions of section 18 of this Ordinance, shall expire at the end of one year from a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette:Provided that the Director may grant a renewal of such approval for such period as he may determine, but such renewal shall not in the aggregate exceed twelve months.”.
