Clause 26

A veterinary authority may give written directions for the disinfection or destruction of any bedding, clothing, harness, fitting, buckets, pails or utensils whatsoever used in connection with any infected animal or bird.

No compensation shall be payable in respect of any bedding, clothing, harness, fitting, buckets, pails or utensils destroyed under the provisions of subsection (1) of this section.

Any person who without lawful excuse fails to comply with any written direction given under the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, shall be guilty of an offence under this Ordinance and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
