Clause 34

Removal of articles from infected premises

(1)

A veterinary authority may give written directions prohibiting the removal of milk, manure, fodder, litter or other articles likely to carry or convey infection, from premises on which there is or recently has been, any animal or bird infected with disease.

(2)

Any person who fails without reasonable excuse to comply with any written directions, given under the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, shall be guilty of an offence under this Ordinance and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
