Clause 49

Animals and birds not to be kept in captivity for sale, export or exhibition without licence

(1)

No person shall keep in captivity for sale, export or exhibition any animal or bird in any place which has not been licensed in that behalf under this Ordinance.

(2)

Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence under this Ordinance and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
