Clause 15

Attempt to commit offences and assisting offenders

(1)

Without prejudice to the operation of Chapter V and Chapter XXIII of the Penal Code, any person who attempts to commit or does any act preparatory to the commission of an offence under this Act shall be deemed to be guilty of such offence under this Act (Cap. 119).

(2)

No person, knowing or having reasonable cause to believe, that another person is guilty of an offence under this Act shall give such other person any assistance with intent thereby to prevent, hinder or interfere with the apprehension, trial or punishment of that person for that offence.
