Modifications of law of property
(1)
The modifications of the laws of property to be recognized in the case of Muslim marriages shall be as enacted in this Act.
(2)
Nothing in this Act contained shall be held to prevent any Muslim person directing by his or her will that his or her estate and effects shall be distributed according to the Muslim law.
