Clause 107
Disposition by will to be in accordance with Muslim law
(1)
Notwithstanding anything contained in the provisions of the English law or in any other written law no Muslim shall, after the coming into operation of this Act, dispose of his property by will except in accordance with the provisions of and subject to the restrictions imposed by the school of Muslim law professed by him.
(2)
Nothing in this section shall affect —
(a)
the provisions of the Wills Ordinance (Cap. 35), other than sections 3 and 5 thereof; or
(b)
the provisions of the Probate and Administration Ordinance (Cap. 17); or
(c)
the will of a Muslim dying before the coming into operation of this Act.
