Clause 68

Estimates

(1)

The Majlis shall prepare and submit to the Minister not later than the 31st day of October in each year estimates of all income and expenditure of the Majlis, including therein estimates of all property receivable and disposable in kind, in respect of the ensuing year. The Minister may approve such estimates or may direct that they be amended. Upon such approval or amendment the said estimates shall be published in the Gazette.

The Majlis may at any time submit to the Minister supplementary estimates of expenditure in respect of the current year, or, at any time prior to the 31st day of March in any year, in respect of the preceding year, and such estimates may be approved or amended, and shall be published, in like manner as the annual estimates.

(3)

No monies shall be expended, or property disposed of in kind, save in accordance with such estimates as aforesaid and upon a voucher signed by the President.
