Clause 70

Bankers

(1)

The Majlis shall appoint bankers to be approved by the Minister and may operate such account or accounts as may seem proper.

(2)

Payments by the Majlis of amounts exceeding fifty dollars shall be made by cheque. All monies received by or for the Majlis shall be paid into a bank account of the Majlis in the manner prescribed.

(3)

Cheques drawn on any bank account of the Majlis shall be signed by the President or by a member of the Majlis authorized by the President in that behalf and by the Secretary.
