Clause 76

Restriction of new mosques

(1)

No person shall erect any mosque, or dedicate or otherwise apply any existing building as or for the purposes of a mosque, without the permission in writing of the Majlis.

(2)

Such permission shall in no case be given unless the site of the proposed new mosque has been, or will prior to the erection or dedication thereof be, made a wakaf.
